🧑‍🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Age: 18 to 25 years as of August 24, 2025

Relaxation: SC/ST: up to 5 years; OBC: up to 3 years

**Education / Trade Requirements:**

Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board is mandatory.

For technical trades (Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician, Painter, Pump Operator, Upholsterer):

Two‑year ITI certificate, or

One‑year ITI certificate with at least one year of experience in the trade

For non-technical trades (Cobbler, Tailor, Sweeper, Washerman, Barber, Khoji/Syce):

Proficiency in trade and clearing the trade test

Preference for candidates skilled in multiple trades

Matriculation mandatory

For Cook, Waiter, Water Carrier:

NSQF Level‑I certification in Food Production/Kitchen from NSDC‑recognized institutes required

⚙️ Selection Process

1. **Computer-Based Test (CBT):**

100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 hours covering:

General Awareness (25)

Elementary Mathematics (25)

Reasoning / Aptitude (25)

English/Hindi (25)

Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer

 

2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Minimum height, chest (males), weight norms.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Includes running, long jump, high jump (details in official notification).

💰 Salary & Allowances

Pay Level: Level 3 pay matrix

Salary Range: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 + Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Ration Allowance, Medical facilities, leave passes, and holiday duty compensation

General/OBC/EWS: ₹100

SC/ST & Female applicants: No fee

1. Head to rectt.bsf.gov.in, register as a new user from July 26, 2025

2. Log in, choose Constable (Tradesman) post, fill personal, educational, and trade details

3. Upload required documents: photo/signature, 10th certificate, ITI/trade certificates, caste/domicile (if applicable)

4. Pay the fee and submit before **August 24, 2025 (23:59 hrs)**

5. Download and print confirmation page for future reference
