CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025–26: Apply Now
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship Scheme for 2025–26.
This initiative aims to support meritorious girl students who are the only child of their parents,
encouraging families to continue the education of their daughters through financial assistance.
About the Scholarship
The CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship seeks to promote education among single girl children by providing
a monetary reward of ₹1,000 per month for up to two years (Classes 11 and 12).
The amount is transferred directly to the student’s bank account through ECS/NEFT.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a single girl child (no siblings).
- Should have scored at least 70% marks in CBSE Class 10 examination (2025).
- Must be studying in Class 11 or 12 in a CBSE-affiliated school during 2025–26.
- Tuition fees should not exceed ₹2,500 per month in Class 10 and ₹3,000 per month in Classes 11 and 12.
- For NRI students, tuition fees should not exceed ₹6,000 per month.
- Annual parental income should not exceed ₹8 lakh (self/parent declaration).
- Applicant must be an Indian national.

- Parent’s income self-declaration
- Bank account details (cancelled cheque/passbook copy)
- Proof of admission in Class 11

How to Apply

- Alternatively, you can apply directly through
this direct link. - Log in using your Class 10 Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Examination Year.
- Fill out the online application form and upload required documents (affidavit, bank details, income proof, etc.).
- Submit the application and ensure it is verified by your school before 30 October 2025.
Renewal Process
Students who received the scholarship in 2024 can apply for renewal. Renewal requires a score of at least 70% in Class 11
and promotion to Class 12. The last date for renewal application is also 23 October 2025.
