The Lion and the Clever Rabbit
Once there was a fierce lion that terrorized the forest animals. Every day, the lion would catch one animal for food, and all the creatures lived in fear.
One day, a clever rabbit decided to find a solution. He volunteered to face the lion and came up with a smart plan. The rabbit walked slowly to the lion’s den, arriving late.
The lion roared, “Why are you late? I am very hungry!” The rabbit replied calmly, “I was on my way here, but I met another lion who claims to be the king of the forest. I promised to bring him to you.”
Curious and angry, the lion demanded, “Take me to this lion!” The rabbit led him to a deep well filled with water and said, “He is inside this well.”
The lion looked inside and saw his own reflection. Thinking it was a rival lion, he roared loudly and jumped into the well to attack. Sadly, he drowned.
The animals were free from fear, and the clever rabbit became their hero.
